About
On being selectively obsessed in a world of algorithmic mediocrity.
We started as a joke. A small community, a sarcastic nickname, an inside joke that lasted over a decade. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being a joke and started being a home.
Cult Studios isn't a brand... well, it's not just a brand. This is a headquarters for the weird ones, the overthinking ones, the ones who'd rather stay home on Friday and play a niche indie game than pretend to have "fun" at a party.
We make things for people who think "cult following" is a compliment. People who are tired of being told they're "too much" or "too specific" or "too weird." People who want media that respects their intelligence, games that respect their time, and designs that respect their right to be antisocial butterflies.
What we believe:
- Niche is not a compromise, it's a choice
- Community beats clout every single time
- Weird is worship, and we have no interest in being normal
- Quality matters more than virality
- Media literacy isn't optional
- Your people are out there (and they're probably also staying in tonight)
What we make: Games that don't waste your time. Designs that say the quiet part out loud. We know that in the current social climate, having a space where being selective about what you consume isn't pretentious, it's pretty much necessary for survival.
Our Anti-Social Creature Club designs are for introverts who are tired of being told to "just put themselves out there." But that's not all we're creating here. Cultivation is our farming sim in-progress. We're in the early stages, but at its heart, it's about growing community (literally and metaphorically).
Everything we create comes from a simple concept. "Why does this thing not exist yet? Okay, I guess I'll make it."

The initiation is simple: You're here because you get it. You're tired of the mainstream. You want something smarter, weirder, more intentional. You don't want to belong to everything, but you want to belong somewhere that matters.
Welcome to the Cult. Guess what? You've been a member all along.
